NINE MONTH 2001 RESULTS

  • The ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI - AKTOR - TEB Group presents a significant increase in its financial figures during the nine months of the current fiscal year 2001. Consolidated turnover shows an increase of 31% and reached 139.6 billion GrD (409.6 million €) versus 106.4 billion GrD (312.3 million €) in the corresponding period of 2000. Consolidated profits before taxes noted an increase of 23% and amounted to 17.8 billion GrD (52.2 million €) from 14.5 billion GrD (42.6 million €). The Group's profits before taxes, after the deduction of shares' minority rights, amounted to 12 billion GrD (35.1 million €) versus 11.2 billion GrD (33 million €), realizing an increase of 7%. Therefore, the Group's increase in profits obtains a particular significance, since profits, in their total, result from the operational activity of the companies that constitute the Group. The remaining order book of the Group, according to the signed contracts, approaches 400 billion GrD (1,173.8 million €).
  • ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI presented an increase in its turnover by 18%, which reached 57.5 billion GrD (168.7 million €) versus 48.8 billion GrD (143.3 million €). Profits before taxes amounted to 7.6 billion GrD (22.4 million €) from 8.8 billion GrD (25.8 million €) in the corresponding last year's period. It should be noted that the nine-month 2001 profits are operational, in their total, while in the corresponding last year's period, there have been included profits resulting from sales of participations and securities of 4 billion GrD (11.7 million €). As a result, the nine-month 2001operational profits were increased by 41%.
  • The course of AKTOR's financial results is especially satisfactory with an increase in profits before taxes by 72% and in turnover by 68%. Profits reached 10.5 billion GrD (30.8 million €) versus 6.1 billion GrD (18 million €) in the nine months of 2000. Turnover reached 58.8 billion GrD (172.7 million €) versus 35.1 billion GrD (103 million €).
  • TEB's profits increased by 142% and amounted to 1.2 billion GrD (3.6 million €) versus 495 million GrD (1.5 million €) in the nine months of the previous year. Its turnover noted an increase of 12% and reached 22.8 billion GrD (66.9 million €) versus 20.4 billion GrD (59.9 million €).

FIRST HALF 2001 RESULTS

  • Once more, ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI - AKTOR - TEB Group achieved a significant increase in its basic financial results during the first half of 2001 in comparison to the previous administrative fiscal year. More specifically, consolidated turnover presented an increase of 28% and reached 88.1 billion GrD versus 68.8 billion GrD in the first half of 2000. Consolidated profits before taxes noted an increase of 38.8% and amounted to 11.1 billion GrD from 8 billion GrD. The Group's profits before taxes, after the deduction of shares' minority rights, amounted to 7.9 billion GrD compared to 5.8 billion GrD, realizing an increase of 36.2%. The Group's increase in profits obtains a particular significance, since profits, in their total, result from the operational activity of the companies that constitute the Group. Moreover, the remaining order book of the Group, according to the signed contracts, exceeds 350 billion GrD.
  • Elliniki Technodomiki presented an increase in its net results by 31.5% and in its turnover by 10.6%. More specifically, profits before taxes reached 4.6 billion GrD versus 3.5 billion GrD in the corresponding last year's period. Turnover amounted to 36.4 billion GrD from 32.9 billion GrD.
  • The course of AKTOR's financial results is especially satisfactory with an increase in profits before taxes by 46.1% and in turnover by 55.8%. Profits reached 6 billion GrD versus 4.1 billion GrD in the first half of 2000. Turnover reached 35.9 billion GrD versus 23 billion GrD.
  • TEB's profits increased by 41% and amounted to 559 million GrD from 397 million GrD in the first half of the previous year. Its turnover noted an increase of 37.5% and reached 15.6 billion GrD versus 11.3 billion GrD.

FIRST QUARTER 2001 RESULTS

  • The ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI - AKTOR - TEB Group presents an impressive increase in its financial results during the first quarter of 2001. Consolidated turnover noted an increase of 49.7% and reached 44.2 billion GrD versus 29.6 billion GrD in the first three months of 2000. Consolidated profits before taxes contributed 47.6% and amounted to 5.6 billion GrD from 3.8 billion GrD in the corresponding previous period. Moreover, it should be noted that profitability in its total results from the operational activity of the Group's companies.
  • The Parent company, Elliniki Technodomiki S.A., presents an increase in its profits by 30% and turnover by 28% in the first quarter of 2001. More specifically, the company's turnover reached 18.6 billion GrD versus 14.6 billion GrD in the corresponding previous period, while its pre-tax profits amounted to 2.7 billion GrD from 2.1 billion GrD.
  • AKTOR realized a significant increase in its financial results through the increase in its turnover by 86.4% and profits by 62.2%. AKTOR's turnover reached 18.3 billion GrD during the first three months of 2001 versus 9.8 billion GrD in the corresponding previous period. Pre-tax profits amounted to 2.6 billion GrD from 1.6 billion GrD in the first quarter of 2000.
  • TEB exhibited an increase in its profitability by 130.5% and pre-tax profits reached 348 million GrD versus 151 million GrD in the first three months of 2000. Furthermore, TEB's turnover increased by 41.5% and amounted to 7.3 billion GrD from 5.2 billion GrD.

2000 FINANCIAL RESULTS

  • The Group announced its 2000 financial results according to which the consolidated pre tax profits of Elliniki Technodomiki reached GrD 18.1 billion (EURO 53.1 million) versus GrD 17.3 billion (EURO 50.8 million) in 1999, showing an increase of 16.8%. Consolidated turnover reached GrD 148.2 billion (EURO 434.9 million) versus GrD 102.4 billion (EURO 300.6 million) in 1999, increasing by 44.7%.
  • Turnover of the parent company, Elliniki Technodomiki reached GrD 66.3 billion (EURO 194.7 million) versus GrD 52.5 billion (EURO 154.2 million), increasing by 26.3%.
  • Aktor's turnover reached GrD 51.9 billion (EURO 152.4 million) versus GrD 31.5 billion (EURO 92.4 million), showing and remarkable increase of 64.7%.
  • TEB's turnover reached GrD 27.6 billion (EURO 81.1 million) versus GrD 14.9 billion (EURO 43.8 million), increasing by 85%.
  • CAMBAS' profits before taxes amounted to GrD 186 million (EURO 0.5 million) versus a loss of GrD 670 million (EURO 1.9 million) in 1999.

NINE MONTH 2000 RESULTS

  • Financial results of Elliniki Technodomiki - Aktor - Teb Group, during the first nine months of 2000 showed a spectacular growth. According to the financials, group's consolidated turnover reached 106.4 billion GrD and pre-tax profits amounted to 14.5 billion GrD. Especially important is the fact that the Group's profits are mainly operational.
  • The turnover of Elliniki Technodomiki S.A. amounted to 48.8 billion GrD versus 36.9 billion GrD in the corresponding previous period, showing an increase of 32.3%. The company's pre-tax profit reached 8.8 billion GrD versus 8.4 billion GrD in the corresponding period of 1999, increasing by 4.8%.
  • The profits of AKTOR for the first nine months of 2000 had a spectacular increase of 126% reaching 6.1 billion GrD versus 2.7 billion GrD, in the corresponding period of 1999. AKTOR's turnover reached 35.1 billion GrD versus last year's 21.7 billion GrD noting an increase of 62%.
  • Also, TEB's nine month turnover was increased by 158% reaching 20.4 billion GrD compare to last year's 7.9 billion GrD. The company's pre-tax profits reached 495 million GrD against last year's, 346 million GrD, increasing by 43%.

FIRST HALF 2000 RESULTS

  • ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI-AKTOR-TEB Group published its financial results for the first half of 2000, which noted a remarkable increase in comparison to the corresponding previous period. More specifically, consolidated turnover of the Group reached 68,8 billion GrD versus 40,1 billion GrD during the previous first half, presenting an increase of 71,6%. Pre tax profits reached 8,1 billion GrD versus 4,6 billion GrD in the corresponding previous period noting an increase of 76%. (It is noted that in the previous period's financial results AKTOR is also included, so as to be comparable.)
  • Turnover of Elliniki Technodomiki, during the first half of 2000, reached 32,9 billion GrD versus 24,3 billion GrD in the corresponding previous period, presenting an increase of 35,4%. Pre tax profits reached 3,5 billion GrD from 2,8 billion GrD, noting an increase of 25%.

FIRST QUARTER 2000 RESULTS

  • During the first quarter of 2000, ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI S.A. experienced a remarkable increase in its financial results. More specifically, turnover increased by 125% amounting to 29,973 million GrD versus 13,351 million in the corresponding period of 1999. An increase of 140% was noted in net profits before taxes that reached 2,937 million GrD versus 1,223 million GrD. Total assets amounted to 144,495 million from 50,554 million GrD, they increased by 186%. On the other hand equity increased significantly by 188% and reached 107,906 million GrD from 37,413 million GrD. Liabilities increased by 179% amounting to 33,125 million GrD from 11,889 million GrD.

1999 FINANCIAL RESULTS

  • The financial figures of Elliniki Technodomiki for 1999 increased significantly. More specifically, at a consolidated level, the Elliniki Technodomiki - TEB - AKTOR Group financial figures for 1999 were as follows: Pre-tax profits were 17.2 billion GrD and turnover reached 102.3 billion GrD. For the parent company, turnover amounted to 52.6 billion GrD versus 34.4 billion GrD in 1998, an increase of 53%. Pre-tax profits rose by 353%, reaching 11.8 billion GrD against 2.6 billion GrD in 1998.

NINE MONTH 1999 RESULTS

  • Elliniki Technodomiki S.A. published nine-month financial results exhibit significant growth. Consolidated pre-tax profits of the Group reached 8.85 billion GrD showing a significant growth of 401%, compared to the corresponding period of 1998. Turnover also went up by 101% to 47.47 billion GrD (from which 29.2 billion were the Group's sales and 18.3 billion came from participations in joint ventures) versus 23.54 billion in 1998.
  • Total Assets were 61% higher than 1998 and Current Assets reached 33.41 billion GrD (+23% y-o-y), while Fixed assets increased by 188%. Total Equity was 47.8 billion GrD (+ 41 y-o-y). Total Liabilities reached 14.2 billion GrD, The company maintains a very strong capital structure with no Long-term debt and a liquidity ratio of 2.4 times.

FIRST HALF 1999 RESULTS

  • In the first half of 1999, consolidated EBT after minorities reached 3.248 billion GrD from 1.237 billion GrD (+162.5%). Turnover amounted to 32.81 billion GrD from 14.35 billion GrD, in the same period of 1998 (+129%).
  • Total Assets showed a great increase of 150.8% reaching 32.450 billion GrD in the first half of 1999. Equity increased by 127% while Liabilities grew by 204% (no long-term debt exists). The debt to equity ratio stands at 0.34 and the liquidity ratio (current assets over current liabilities) is 2.4 times.
  • On a parent level EBT reached 2.81 billion GrD from 1.23 billion GrD previously (+128.8%). Turnover reached 24.38 billion GrD from 13.74 billion GrD last year (+77.4%).
  • Equity went up by 90% and the debt to equity ratio was 1.227 in the first half of 1999. Total assets went up by 73% to 20.89 billion GrD with current assets doubling and fixed assets almost tripling compared to the last half of 1998.

FIRST QUARTER 1999 RESULTS

  • EBT increased 193.9 % reaching 1.2 bn. GrD in 1999, compared to 416 million GrD in the same period of 1998. The turnover of the Company increased by 114.7 % amounting to 13.4 billion GrD compared to 6.2 billion GrD in the first quarter of 1998.
  • The results are not directly comparable as first quarter 1998 figures do not include recently merged TEB. Results were boosted by higher income from securities that reached 1.3 billion GrD from 237 million GrD in the same period last year.

1998 FINANCIAL RESULTS

  • The financial results of Elliniki Technodomiki for 1998 were significantly improved. In consolidated terms, turnover increased by 45.7% and amounted to 48.5 billion GrD compared to 33.3. billion GrD in 1997. Net profits before taxes rose by 40.4%, amounting to 3,451 million GrD versus 2,458 million a year earlier.
  • The significant increase in the turnover of Elliniki Technodomiki can be partly attributed to the acquisition of TEB S.A. (Technical Company of Volos), a large construction company listed in the ASE, in October 1, 1999.
  • Consolidated turnover for TEB was 9,813 million GrD versus 9,296 million the previous year. In percentage terms the increase was 5.6%. However, net profits before taxes decreased by 53.9%. In 1998 net profits before tax were 675 million versus 1,464 million in 1997. The decrease is mainly due to the decline in income from participations and financial income that amounted to 773 million versus 1,367 million in 1997.

NINE MONTH 1998 RESULTS

  • In the first nine months of 1998 there were no dramatic increases or decreases in the results of Elliniki Technodomiki. More specifically, consolidated turnover increased by 3.8% reaching 23.54 billion GrD from 22.68 billion GrD during the same period last year. However, there was a small decrease of 1% in consolidated net profits before tax, which was at 1,765 million GrD compared to 1,782 million during the first nine months of 1997.

FIRST HALF 1998 RESULTS

  • Consolidated turnover for the first six months of 1998 amounted to 14.35 billion GrD down by 2% compared to the same period in 1997. Net profit before tax dropped by 13.4 % standing at 1,237 million GrD compared to 1,411 million GrD in the first six months of 1997.

FIRST QUARTER 1998 RESULTS

  • During the first three months of 1998 there were no spectacular changes in the financial performance of Elliniki Technodomiki group. Turnover was 6,218 million GrD, 1.01% higher than the previous year during the same period. Net profits before taxes were down by 3.2% and amounted to 416 million GrD versus 429 million GrD during the first three months of 1997. Investments in fixed assets amounted to 231 million GrD.

1997 FINANCIAL RESULTS

  • In a consolidated level, the total turnover of the Elliniki Techodomiki Group for 1997 increased by 34.9% reaching 33.62 billion GrD from 24.91 billion GrD in 1996. This increase was a result of the 44 new projects that started in 1997. However, income before taxes for 1997 dropped by 21.5%. It amounted to 2,511 million GrD compared to 3,199 million GrD in 1996.
