CONSTANTINE B. KARATZAS
ECONOMIST - BANKER

Born in Athens, November 28, 1945.

Graduated from the University of Athens - B.Sc. Econ. (1969) and from the University of Southampton, M.Sc. in Economics (1974).

Has served as an Economist in banking, finance, investment and international activities with the National Investment Bank for Industrial Development - NIBID, the Bank of Greece, the Bank of Central Greece. He also served as an Economic Advisor to major U.K. based Investment Banks.

He recently assumed the position of Managing Director of ASPIS Bank, whilst retaining a broader advisory and strategic role within ASPIS Group.

Member of the Expert Group on Banking of the OECD (1980-1982). Secretary, Coordinator, and Rapporteur of the Greek Government's Steering Committee on the Working of the Greek Financial System (1978-1980).
