and business/support systems reengineering, with both domestic and international
exposure.

Master's Degree in Management Studies. Major : Business Strategy. Graduated
in 1976 from the Polytechnic of Central London.

in Business Administration, majoring in Economics. Athens Graduate School

seminars in the areas of Human Resources Development, Organisation Development,
Strategic Planning and Financial Decision Making.

Started as Financial Analyst, responsible for the
implementation of a budgetary performance reporting system. Promoted
to Finance Manager in charge of Accounting, Planning

1984 to 1985 - Middle East HQ / Athens, Greece
Commercial Services Manager in charge of Order Processing,
Credit, Contract Administration and Logistics. Responsible for
negotiating directly with customers and distributors of the Middle
East network on commercial and credit terms.
1986
to 1987 - MEE/HP Division / Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Transferred to the Saudi Branch as Finance and Administration
Director with the objective to organise the subsidiary
and turn it into a distributorship. Responsible for directing
all administrative and financial activities and liaising with
local authorities.
1988 to 1989 - HP HELLAS / Athens, Greece
On successful completion of the Saudi assignment was asked to
return to Greece, where organised and directed all Administrative,
Finance and Personnel activities of the newly created
local subsidiary.
Having
obtained an overall perspective of the Industrial Marketing sector
decided to broaden his horizons by joining a manufacturing company
in the consumer products field.

PEPSICO
INC 1990 to 1993 - Tasty Foods / Athens, Greece
Joined as Chief Financial Officer during a transition
stage from a privately owned company to a multinational, with
the task of reorganising and directing all Financial, Treasury,
Planning, MIS and Administrative activities in an effort to jump-leap
the organisation forward. Overall responsibility for a staff of
fifty.
Special
emphasis in the areas of business development where championed
and completed the acquisition of the second largest snack company
in Greece (BEST FOODS) and was appointed General
Manager of the acquired company.
In addition to the above, assumed the leading role in the pan-European
restructuring project.
1994
to 1995 - Snack Ventures Europe / Amsterdam, Holland
As a result of the involvement in the pan-European project was
appointed Director of Financial Operations in the
HQ of the $ 1bn Pepsico joint venture with activities in major
European countries.
In charge of the regional project team for re-engineering business,
support processes and computer systems. Responsible for driving
balance sheet and capital investment opportunities.
1996
to 1997 - Pepsico Foods / London, England
Following the merge of the region with the European HQ, promoted
to the position of European Finance Director expanding
his role over all European, Middle East and African entities,
with revenues of $ 3 bn.
Developed
a system to provide compatible financial and business data in
order to enhance European HQ's and reporting entities' Management
Information level , which eventually became worldwide company
standard.

Appointed General Manager of this ailing Public Company,
with an agenda to reactivate operations, obtain financing, restructure
organisation / costs and manage it through to privatisation in full

Officer with the objective to assist the organisation to evolve
into a truly commercial enterprise and deliver increasing value
