Roger Friedberger
Chief Financial Officer

Since 1996, Roger Friedberger has been responsible for ILOG's global financial and legal operations. In this capacity he helped launch ILOG's IPO on the NASDAQ in 1997, as well as the acquisition of CPLEX that same year. In 1998, he helped complete ILOG's listing on the Nouveau Marché.

Friedberger spent 19 years in corporate finance prior to joining ILOG. From 1989 to 1996, he was senior vice president, chief financial officer and secretary at Insignia Solutions plc, where he led the company's 1995 IPO on the NASDAQ. He was previously chief financial officer at Micro Focus plc, leading their listing on the London Stock Exchange in 1985. Friedberger started his career as an audit manager with Price Waterhouse in London and San Jose.

Friedberger graduated from the University of Leeds, England, in 1972 with a bachelor of commerce degree in accounting and law. He is a certified public accountant in California, and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
