Mr. Kevin E. Pilarski

Kevin Pilarski is the Regional Director - Americas for STOXX Ltd. Based in Chicago, Mr. Pilarski is responsible for strategy, licensing and marketing of Dow Jones STOXX indexes to investment management companies, financial services companies and exchanges throughout North and South America.

The Dow Jones STOXX indexes are published by STOXX Limited, a partnership of Deutsche Borse AG, Dow Jones & Company, Euronext Paris SA and SWX Swiss Exchange. They are a family of investable and tradable European equity indexes that are fully integrated with the Dow Jones Global Indexes.

Launched in 1998 to coincide with the consolidation of European financial markets, the Dow Jones STOXX Index family includes more than 260 individual market indexes such as Dow Jones STOXX, Dow Jones STOXX 50, Dow Jones EURO STOXX and Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50. Through mid-year 2001, investors worldwide have committed more than €500 billion (US$460 billion) in assets to over 1400 investment products based on STOXX indexes, more than doubling total assets in one year. STOXX-based index products represent the largest European equity index futures and options markets, with open interest of €32 billion (US$29.5 billion) in futures and €130 billion (US$120 billion) in index options.

Prior to joining STOXX, Mr. Pilarski, 38, was Vice President, Sales and Relationship Management at eSpeed, an electronic order matching system developed by Cantor Fitzgerald. He has served as Senior Manager of Institutional International Marketing at the Chicago Board of Trade, and he has over 15 years experience in the derivatives industry. He has organized and managed proprietary trading operations for Stafford Trading, LFG,LLC and Cooper-Neff and Associates.

He holds NASD Securities License Series 3, 4, 7, 24 and 63. In addition to his responsibilities for STOXX, Mr. Pilarski serves as President and Chief Compliance Officer for Dow Jones Broker Dealer Services, Inc.

Mr. Pilarski earned a BS in Finance and Economics from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.
