The ABG's Board of Directors announces that the Ordinary Annual Shareholders Meeting on May 4, 2006, decided the change of ABG's distinctive title to "ATEbank".

The Ministry of Development approved the amendment of the relative article of the Bank's Articles of Association. The Board of Directors of the Athens Exchange at its meeting on May 11, 2006 was informed about the above decision. Further to the above, the ABG's Board of Directors decided that from May 17, 2006, the distinctive title of Agricultural Bank of Greece changes into "ATEbank".
