In accordance with the article 16 of c.l. 2190/1920, as in force and the decision of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on May 14th,2008, ATEbank announces the share buy-back program for the acquisition of own shares through the Athens Exchange, under the following conditions:

2.The maximum number of own shares to be acquired will not exceed 2.5% of the total number of the Bank's shares in issue. 1.The Bank may acquire own shares up to 12 months from the date of the A.G.M.'s decision.

3.The acquisition of the own shares will take place at a maximum price of euro 4.10 and a minimum price of euro 0.72.
