January 25, 2007 Emporiki Bank introduces to the Greek Market the Emporiki Trade integrated online and offline services pack, taking advantage of the international network and the know-how of Crédit Agricole S.A. aiming at enhancing its consulting role, mainly for SMEs that are interested in taking advantage of the global market opportunities timely and authoritatively.
At a Press Conference today, Mr. Konstantinos Varlamis, Emporiki Bank's Corporate Products Division Manager, presented analytically the Emporiki Trade integrated business solutions pack, which is available at the www.emporikitrade.comportal and includes the following:
Fully updated online information services, with 5,000 pages for the business, economic, political and normative "profile" of 87 countries as well as with 25,000 market researches.
Specialized analyses, studies and researches customized for each customer particular demands.
Assistance for the selection of collaborators and organization of business travels, a leading service compared to the Greek reality, which will be offered by the sales officers of the Bank's network of branches.
An integrated product pack of the Bank for facilitating the international transactions of small and medium enterprises (imports, exports, documentary credits, import-export factoring, credit insurance, exchange risks cover).
Mr. Varlamitis noted, "Access to information becomes a fundamental precondition for the competitiveness of the enterprises. It is the small and medium enterprises that are in an immediate need for a reliable and specialized collaborator as they aim at their dynamic expansion to the international markets."

The creation of the new Emporiki Trade integrated service pack became possible with the cooperation of Export Enterprises S.A., a subsidiary company of Crédit Agricole, which is specialized in the provision of business solutions at the global level and already operates 30 such websites for banks and organizations.
Access is free for some of the services of Emporiki Trade, such as export advices and use of the updated database of transacting countries. For most of the services on offer the requirement is to create a profile in the Emporiki Trade website, while for Emporiki Bank's clients there will be a preferential pricing and access to the total of the services.
