October 10, 2006 Within the framework of decision 3/347/7.12.2005 of the Capital Market Commission BoD, as well as the related provisions of the underlying legislation and in compliance with the provisions of Law 3016/2002 regarding Corporate Governance, we would like to inform the investing public that the BoD of FANCO S.A. in its session on 10/6/2006 was notified about Mr. Georgios Papaioannou resignation from the position of Vice President / Independent Non Executive Member that he held and unanimously approved the election of Mr. Leonidas Theodorou in replacement.
