COSMOTE Mobile Telecommunications Announcement

January 16, 2007 COSMOTE Mobile Telecommunications announces that on Monday 15 January 2007, Mr. Panos Germanos, through a fully controlled holding company MICROSTAR Ltd, has acquired a 10% participation in the share capital of COSMOTE's subsidiary COSMOHOLDING CYPRUS Ltd. The transaction is in accordance with COSMOTE's previous announcements and is described fully in paragraph 5.10.2 of COSMOHOLDING CYPRUS Ltd' published Information Memorandum, regarding the mandatory public offer for the acquisition of GERMANOS shares, which was recently completed. Following this transaction, COSMOTE's indirect participation in GERMANOS' issued share capital, through COSMOHOLDING CYPRUS Ltd, is c. 89.23%.
