Alapis S.A. announces that today, February 16th 2009, the Hellenic Competition Commission informed the company about its 431/V/05.02.2009 approval decision, which refers to the acquisition of the remaining 50,66% of PNG GEROLYMATOS S.A. share capital by Alapis S.A.

It is expected that within the next few days all the typical procedures will be materialized for the completion of the said acquisition.
