Euromedica S.A. hereby informs its shareholders and investing public that on 17/3/2008 it acquired 50% of the shares of the company "KASTALIA PRIVATE NEUROPSYCHIATRIC CLINIC S.A.", which runs the KASTALIA Neuropsychiatric Clinic in Karditsa, in accordance with the specifications of Law 517, in exchange for the amount of 5,000,000 euros.

The Clinic has been built on private property covering approximately 1.2 hectares, it has a bed capacity of 75, whereas it has created the necessary infrastructure and is in the process of extending its operating license to include a total of 148 beds. In 2007 the company reached a turnover of 3.4 million euros, with its profit before taxes amounting to 1.1 million euros. With this acquisition, Euromedica S.A. is for the first time entering the field of neuropsychiatric clinics, which is a sector that is of particular interest to the company, whereas it is already negotiating its participation in other psychiatric clinics in Greece, aiming at its further growth in the field.
