Euromedica S.A. hereby informs its shareholders and investing public that it has acquired a 35% interest in "CORFU EURODIAGNOSI PRIVATE DIAGNOSTIC LABORATORY S.A." in exchange for the amount of euro 1,137,000.

The company runs a Diagnostic Centre in the town of Corfu, which is vertically integrated and includes the following departments: Magnetic Tomography (MRI), Computed Tomography, Radiology, Ultrasound, Triplex, Mammography and Microbiology Laboratory. In 2007 it achieved a turnover of 2.1 million euros and its profit before tax amounted to euro 425,000. The remaining 65% of the company belongs to 35 doctors from Corfu.

Through this acquisition, EUROMEDICA has increased the number of diagnostic centres in its nationwide network to 40. It currently owns 17 diagnostic centres in Attica (two of which are soon to commence operation), 6 in Thessaloniki, including the EUROGENETIKI laboratory, 2 in Crete, 3 in Volos, and one in each of the following cities: Larissa, Ptolemaida, Kozani, Serres, Alexandroupoli, Trikala, Corinth, Mytilene, Katerini, Kastoria, Kavala and Corfu.
