April 9, 2009 The American magazine "Global Finance" awarded Eurobank EFG as the "Best Consumer Internet Bank" & "Best Corporate/Institutional Internet Bank" in Greece for 2008. As noted by the magazine, the parameters evaluated by the awarding committee were, inter alia, the effectiveness of development strategies and electronic customer services, the breadth of services offered, the benefits arising from the use of the services, website design and functionality, etc.
In addition, Eurobank EFG’s new e- Banking was given the "Top Performance" award by the specialized technology magazine RAM, which classified the bank's new e-banking service in the 1st position amongst relevant services of Greek banks in the annual comparative test it organized,. The magazine's editors made special reference to the service's user-friendly design, the immediacy of the provided services' completion and its cost-effective charges.
