The Hellenic Telecommunications Organization SA (OTE SA), in accordance with Law 3556/2007, 1/434/3.07.2007 Decision of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, article 13 of Law 3340/2005 and 3/347/12.07.2005 Decision of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission announces that:

DEUTSCHE TELEKOM AG, where Mr Hamid Akhavan and Mr Guido Kerkhoff are members of the Board of Management and Mr Kevin Copp is Senior Executive Vice President, on July 31, 2009 purchased 24,507,519 shares of OTE SA of a total value of 673,956,772.50 euro. Mr Hamid Akhavan, Mr Guido Kerkhoff and Mr Kevin Copp are also members of the Board of Directors of OTE SA.
