Pursuant to the provisions of L.3556/2007, OPAP S.A. announces, following relevant notification submitted by "Capital World Growth and Income Fund, Inc" that, the Company holds 15,823,210 shares (direct: 15,823,210 - indirect: 0), namely 4.9603% over the total share capital of OPAP S.A. and the respective voting rights.

The transaction date during which the percentage dropped below the threshold of 5% is October 15th, 2008. The number of shares (direct participation) prior to the triggering transaction was 16,004,410 namely 5.0171% of the total share capital of OPAP S.A. and the respective voting rights.
