Following the company's announcement dated 25/01/2008 regarding the acquisition of 50.1% of Turkish company Sega Bakir S.A., HALCOR informs the investing community that the Turkish Competition Board approved the said acquisition. Following the above approval, the acquisition of the Turkish company can be completed. HALCOR, via this company, expects to expand its activities into new profitable markets as well as to introduce the group into the large Turkish market and in essence into the Near and Far East markets.
