Purchase of own shares on December, 24th 2008

December 29, 2008 TT HELLENIC POSTBANK S.A. announces, in accordance with Regulation of the Commission of the European Community no. 2273/2003, article 4, par. 4, that following the decision of the Annual General Assembly of Shareholders (dated May, 2nd, 2008) and the resolution of its Board of Directors (dated on May 30th, 2008), it purchased own shares, via a member of Athens Exchange, as follows;
-on December, 24th 2008, were purchased 43,860 shares, with average cost price 5.15€ per share and total purchase price 226,072.40€.
