November 29, 2006 Impressive growth posted the Athens Medical Center SA in the 9 month period of the current fiscal year. Turnover, profitability and profit margins all posted a positive change in line with the trend of the previous quarters.
In particular, on a parent level, turnover posted an increase of 22,1% at 183,1 mil euros. This increase is a result of an increase in the inpatient flow by 7,18% an the outpatient flow by 12,16%. EBITDA posted an increase of 37,9% reaching 25,5 mil euros and profit after tax posted an increase of 67,86% reaching 10,9 mil euros.
Consolidated results posted a similar trend. Turnover posted an increase of 19,74% vs the same period last year reaching 186,5 mil Euros. EBITDA reached 30,7 mil euros posting an increase of 26,64% vs the same period last year. EBITDA margin posted an increase of 0,9 percentage points vs the same period last year, reaching 16,5%. Finally, profit after tax and after minority rights posted an increase of 72,6% reaching 12,17 mil euros.
