March 16, 2007 AEGEK informs the investing public that on 16.03.2007 the Joint Venture “AEGEK – IMPREGILO – ALSTOM Transport” executed a contract for the construction of the project “ATHENS METRO - LINE 3: HOLARGOS, NOMISMATOKOPEIO, AGHIA PARASKEVI STATIONS”.
Project Owner is Attiko Metro S.A.
The total cost of the aforementioned contract amounts to Euro 102,906,580 (including contingencies, cost-plus expenses, revision and VAT).
AEGEK is the Leader of the Joint Venture with a participation percentage of 48%.
The scope of the said contract refers to the elaboration of the implementation design, the construction of the civil engineer works, the supply and installation of the E&M and railway systems as well as the test, commissioning and maintenance of the three intermediate stations of the Athens Metro – Line 3, i.e. “HOLARGOS”, “NOMISMATOKOPEIO”, and “AGHIA PARASKEVI” as well as of “NOMISMATOKOPEIO Transfer Station.
The overall project execution deadline is set to 900 calendar days since the execution of the contract.
