October 25, 2006 ALTEC is included within the leading enterprises in Europe for 2005 regarding the highest investments made in the sector of research and growth, according to the research of "Industrial R&D Scoreboard" that was recently published by the European Committee.
The study includes 2.000 enterprises among which, 1.000 from Europe and 1.000 from the rest of the world. 371 billions of euro in total were invested in research by the companies that took part in the study.
For the second year in the row, ALTEC is one of the few Greek enterprises presented in the relative table and by far the first from the IT sector, possessing the 695th place in the classification.
This distinction confirms the systematic effort made by ALTEC in the sector of new products and technologies development. Important investments in the sector of research constitute a strategic decision of the company's Administration.
ALTEC believes that future belongs to those who prepare it and proves this in practice.
