May 16, 2008 In regards to the latest electronic press reports which refer to the sale of ATEbank's equity participation in OTE S.A., the bank announces the following: At 15.5.2008, ATEbank owned 4.291.209 shares of OTE S.A. share capital. The above-mentioned participation has not been sold or agreed to be sold to Deutsche Telecom S.A. or to any other organization. Consequently the press reports regarding ATEbank are completely inaccurate.
