June 25, 2008 Agricultural Bank of Greece S.A. (ATEbank) announces the following: In accordance with ATEbank's procedure for the sale of part of ATEbank's Equity participation in ATE Insurance S.A., as well as for the establishment of strategic alliance in the Bancassurance area, by Wednesday 25th June 2008 the following prospective investors submitted non binding expression of interest to ATEbank's consultant "Deloitte Business Solutions" S.A.: 1. Groupama S.A. 2. Ergo Insurance Group. 3. Mapfre. 4. Aspis Pronoia/Commercial Value Group. The evaluation of the forementioned candidacies for the selection of those who will be invited to participate into the second part of the procedure will be completed into approximately seven (7) days, in accordance with the procedure's regulations.
