September 11, 2008 At the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Cyprus Public Company Ltd ("the Bank") held today, Ir Andreas Pittas announced his resignation from his position as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank. The Board of Directors accepted Mr Pittas' resignation and expressed its warmest thanks for his valuable and longstanding contribution to the Board.
