February 9, 2006 In accordance with Article 2 of decision 5/204/2000 of the HCMC Board of Directors, as currently in force, and in reply to its letter dated 08/02/06 regarding the press release published in the newspaper "SYMVOULOS" on 08/02/06 with respect to the development of a parallell market of fruits and gardening in the region of the Municipality of Avlona, South Attica, the company ELGEKA S.A. would like to mention the following: On 25.10.2002, ELGEKA S.A. submitted to the Ministry of Agriculture a file concerning the investment program for the establishment of a processing center for the distribution of fruits and vegetables in order to cater large cities, within the framework of Measure 2.1 "Investments in Manufacture and Trade of Agricultural Products" of the Operational Program "Agricultural Development-Reconstruction of the Countryside 2000-2006". At the moment there are no developments in the specific investment plan and as a result, due to the long period of time that has elapsed, which led in turn to a change in market facts, ELGEKA S.A. will review again-within the first quarter of 2006-the aforesaid project and will reach its definite decisions.
