January 14, 2009 Following receipt of the document sent by the Capital Markets Commission (protocol number 121/14.01.2009) that refers to the press articles published in newspapers and on the web regarding the decision for the suspension of the construction of the building complex in Votanikos, Babis Vovos International Construction S.A. received a certificate from the Secretary of the Council of State (protocol number P271/14.01.2009) confirming that '... from the book publishing the decisions of the Suspension Committee we can verify that until 14 January 2009 no decision on the request of suspension was published.' Based on the facts mentioned here above, the management of BVIC S.A. does not know the source of the information that was published in the press and would like to reiterate that the investment community will be kept informed of any new developments on the aforementioned matter.
