November 14, 2008 Based on the article 9, 10 and 14 of the L.3556/2007, on the decision 1/434/3.7.2007 of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, on the Circular 33 of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission as well as on Athens Stock Exchange Regulation, the Company "ALFA-BETA" VASSILOPOULOS S.A. announces, after a relevant notification issued on 13.11.2008, that on 11.11.2008, the shareholder DELHAIZE "The Lion" NEDERLAND B.V purchased 220,000 shares of the Company "ALFA-BETA" VASSILOPOULOS S.A. resulting to a change of voting rights equal or higher than 3% since its previous notification. Hereafter, the holding of voting rights of the shareholder DELHAIZE "The Lion" NEDERLAND B.V from 7,606,224 (59,738%) reaches 8.023.033 (63,011%) on total voting rights.
