February 14, 2008 Alumil Milonas administration announces with content a new strategic, exclusive agreement with "Biosar Energy S.A.", member of the Elliniki Technodomiki TEB - Aktor Group, for the assembly of aluminium mounting structures for photovoltaic (PV) modules. Biosar, designs, constructs and operates electric power stations exploiting renewable energy sources, like wind parks, PV parks, hydroelectric stations and hybrid systems. It also provides related services (research, construction, operation, management and maintenance) for PV parks and guaranteed high performance related equipment. The largest Hellenic aluminium extrusion Group is the exclusive Biosar supplier of aluminium systems from special aluminium alloys, to construct frames for the assembly of aluminium mounting structures for PV modules. The contract relates to hundreds of specially processed profiles tons per annum. Catalysts for the cooperation stood the Alumil Group impressive production capacity, the second-to-none quality and complexity of the profiles produced, in tandem with the sound cooperation of both groups' specialised staff. The agreement further allows Biosar to provide with mounting structures PV Parks of tens of MW per year, driving the way towards a leading market share. The strategic agreement arrived as a result of the excellent existing cooperation between the two Groups.
