September 2, 2008 TITAN CEMENT COMPANY S.A. announces that on 1.9.2008, the Company purchased 24,000 common and 30 preference own shares, against an average purchase price of Euro 24.32 and Euro 19.90 per share and a total purchase price of Euro 583,744.00 and Euro 597.00 respectively, in implementation of decision dated 20th May 2008 of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders and resolution dated 20th May 2008 of the Board of Directors. The above 24,000 common and 30 preference own shares purchased through Alpha Finance.
