December 20, 2007 In accordance with article 291 of the Athens Exchange Regulation, Alpha Bank hereby announces that, in the period between 20.12.2007 and 31.12.2007, it will sell by way of private placement to institutional investors up to 10,970,634 treasury shares, representing up to 2.67 % of the Bank's paid-up share capital, at a price not lower than Euro 23.00 per share.
