June 30, 2008 Alpha Bank announces that, on 30.6.2008, it sold, by way of a private placement to Paramount Services Holding Limited, a company representing the business interests of the most prominent family in Qatar, 16,439,066 treasury shares, representing 4.00% of the Bank's paid-in share capital, at a sale price equal to Euro 18.00 per each share sold.
