November 13, 2008 Alpha Bank announces that, pursuant to the decisions of its General Meeting of Shareholders of 3.4.2008 and its Board of Directors of 1.7.2008, on 12.11.2008 it purchased, via Athex member Alpha Finance A.E.P.E.Y., 137,024 own shares for a total consideration of Euro 1,360.5 thousand.
