February 17, 2006 Mr. Spyros Capralos, Chairman of the Athens Exchange (ATHEX), taking into consideration the recent request of the Hellenic Capital Markets Commission Executive Committee, decided to place as of today (17.02.2006) the shares of the company "PROMOTA HELLAS S.A." under temporary suspension. The Hellenic Capital Markets Commission (HCMC) taking into consideration the announcement of the company, dated 15/2/06, and the audit that it carried out in the seat of the company, found out that: The company is in an awkward financial condition and has not paid out its due debts to the employees, the Greek State, banks and third parties, It does not have the internal organization that is provided for in L.3016 and decision no.5/204 of the HCMC, Is not in a position to provide specific data for its financial figures. It is pointed out that the shares of the company were traded in the "Under Supervision" category since 16.1.2006.
