November 27, 2008 C. ROKAS S.A. informs the investment public that it will release on Thursday 27 November 2008 its 9M 2008 consolidated financial results according to International Financial Reporting Standards, as those have been adopted by the European Union, and more specifically according to IAS 34 "Interim Financial Reporting". The Group's Turnover for the nine month period of 2008 stood at euro 40.8 m. as opposed to euro 32.5 m. for the nine month period 2007 substantially increased by 25.6%. To be noted is the significant increase by 165.8% of the sales of Electromechanical Projects sector while satisfactory is the turnover increase of the Energy sector that amounted to euro 32.1 m. showing an increase of 13.5%. The Consolidated Gross Profit marked an increase by 8.9% for the nine month period of 2008 and amounted to euro 15.0 m. as opposed to euro 13.8 m. in the respective period last year. The Gross Profit margin amounted to 36.8% over consolidated sales marking a decrease of 5.6 percentage points mainly due to the lower increase of sales in the Energy sector, which operates with higher profit margins. The Group's EBITDA for the nine month of 2008 amounted to euro 20.1 m. as opposed to euro 18.5 m. marking an increase of 8.4% over the nine month period of 2007, a fact that is mainly attributed to the decrease of selling and administrative expenses as the Group's restructuring efforts are delivering the first results. The Consolidated EBIT amounted to euro 13.1 m. as opposed to euro 12.0 m. for the nine month period of 2007 increased by 8.9%. The Group's EBT increased by 10.7% and amounted to euro 12.1 m. for the nine month period of 2008 as opposed to euro10.9m in the respective period last year. Finally, the Consolidated EATAM stood at euro 8.7 m. as opposed to euro 8.3 m. in the nine month period of 2007 marking a slight increase of 4.3% due to the additional tax charges during 2008.
