November 20, 2008 In reply to the Athens Exchange letter dated 20.11.2008 under registration no. 44528 regarding Aspis Bank's comments on published information in the economic press regarding: "the increase of Bank's Share Capital and discussions with other Banks for strategic cooperation ...", ASPIS BANK S.A. announces the following according to the articles 4.1.3.6., 4.1.3.10 and 4.8 of the Regulation of Athens Exchange: 1. The Board of Directors in it's next meeting will examine the Bank's Business Plan for the following three years. In this business plan is included the possibility of Increasing the Bank's Share Capital and 2. ASPIS BANK S.A. still explores cooperation with other Banks as announced in the past. At the moment there is not such a proposal that has led to binding agreements. In case any decision or binding agreement arises the Bank will inform the investors according to the law."
