July 7, 2008 Blue Star Maritime S.A., (the Company), pursuant to the provisions of Law 3340/2005 and the Law 3556/2007, the Decision 1/434/03.07.2007 and the Circular nr. 33 of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, announces that "MARFIN INVESTMENT GROUP HOLDINGS S.A.", which is closely associated to the Director, Independent, Non-Executive member of the Board of Directors Mr. Alexander Edipidis, bought shares of the Company as follows: a) on 02.07.2008 bought 6,280 shares with total value of Euro 16,504.67 and b) on 03.07.2008 bought 18,010 shares with total value of Euro 46,490.50.
