December 24, 2008 Blue Star Maritime S.A., (the Company), pursuant to the provisions of Law 3340/2005 and the Law 3556/2007, the Decision 1/434/03.07.2007 and the Circular nr. 33 of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, announces that MARFIN INVESTMENT GROUP HOLDINGS S.A., which is closely associated to the Director, Independent, Non-Executive member of the Board of Directors Mr. Alexander Edipidis, bought shares of the Company as follows: a) on 22.12.2008 bought 294,216 shares with total value of Euro 720,085.39 and b) on 23.12.2008 bought 146,835 shares with total value of Euro 386,033.14.
