June 7, 2006 A press release was published today, the 7th of June 2006, in a daily Greek newspaper stating that ".the "fall through" of the negotiations for the participation of BC Partners in the share capital of the Athens Medical Center is attributed to the unsatisfactory due diligence". The above statement is not true in any way and for the sake of accurate and complete information of the investment community we state the following: 1. The negotiations did not fall through, however for the present time the participation of BC Partners in the share capital as a strategic investor was cancelled. 2. The termination of the negotiations has nothing to do with any due diligence process.
