December 21, 2006 In answer to your letter dated the 19th of December 2006 we would like to inform you about the following: 1. It is true that our Company acting through its attorney in power submitted an offer for the acquisition of the hospital unit Erricos Dynan. Our offer is obviously subject to the existing laws in power as well as the protection of the interests of our shareholders. 2. In addition, because of uncertainty of the legal status of Erricos Dynan sale process resulting from the existing criminal procedures currently in progress we assigned the case to a Law Office with expertise on these particular issues, as well as we asked for the legal opinion of a Professor of the Law Department of the Athens University. 3. In any event we shall keep you posted on any further developments on the above mentioned issue
