June 23, 2008 This Friday the 20th of June 2008, at 1:30 p.m., Mr George A. Provopoulos was sworn in as Governor of the Bank of Greece and Ms Helen Louri-Dendrinou was sworn in as Deputy Governor of the Bank of Greece before the President of the Republic Dr Karolos Papoulias, in the presence of the Minister of Economy and Finance Mr George Alogoskoufis. Following today's swearing-in ceremony, the Administration of the Bank of Greece is as follows: - George A. Provopoulos, Governor - Panayotis A. Thomopoulos, Deputy Governor - Helen Louri-Dendrinou, Deputy Governor.
