September 29, 2008 Altec SA announces that its subsidiary company Altec Telecoms submitted on Thursday 25th September 2008 in the Court of the first instance in Athens, an application for initiation of the process for reconciliation according to the article 99 of Law 3588/2007 for the achievement of agreement between the company and its creditors aiming on the progressive lifting of its economic difficulties, the smooth continuation of its activity, the maintenance of working places and the general continuation of its operation.
