May 30, 2006 ALUMINIUM OF GREECE S.A, following its previous announcement and in accordance with the decision taken by the company's Board of Directors on 24 May 2006 in application of a General Shareholders' decision on share buy-back, taken at the annual meeting of 16 May 2006, informs investors that it intends to purchase 533,936 of its own shares maximum, during the period between 5 June 2006 and 4 September 2006, at a price ranging between 30 (highest) and 5 (lowest) Euros. The purchases will be effected through the stockbroking companies матиомаL SECURITIES S.A. and EFG EUROBANK S.A.
