Trading and clearance of the transactions on the Hellenic Exchanges on May 1 and May 7, 2002
The ASE announces that on Wednesday, May 1, 2002 the transactions will be not be realized on the ASE and the ADEX and there will be no clearance of the transactions by the systems of the CSD and the ADECH. This decision was imposed due to the cessation of the realization of inter-bank transactions in the Banking market, which is due to the fact of the non-operation of the pan-European inter-bank clearance system TARGET and the Greek inter-bank clearance system HERMES.
It is noted that the systems of the CSD and the ADECH, as well as the departments of all the companies of the HELEX Group will operate.
Also, on Tuesday, May 7, 2002, neither the ASE nor the ADEX or the clearance companies CSD and ADECH will operate, due to the holiday.
