| AEGEK | | The joint venture of AEGEK S.A - EKTER S.A - EMPEDOS S.A undertook the construction of a complex of buildings and hostels at Polytechnioupoli at the municipality of Zografou | | October 14, 2002 AEGEK S.A in a joint venture with EKTER S.A and EMPEDOS S.A has undertaken the construction of a complex of buildings and hostels at Polytechnioupoli at the municipality of Zografou. The project has a total budget of Euro 26 millions. In its first phase the complex will be used as an Olympic Press Village and it will be completed up to April 30th 2004.
The project concerns the construction of a complex of 15 hostels of a total capacity of 800 beds, 1 administration building, 1 restaurant & stores building of a total area of approximately 30,000 square meters.
The construction of the project includes the shaping of the surrounding area (totaling 67,000 square meters) in order to construct internal pedestrian walkways, flower beds and other road construction works.
The participation of AEGEK S.A in the joint venture amounts to 25%.
