On its session on October 31, 2002 the Board of Directors of the Athens Exchange approved the prospectus of the following company regarding the listing of its shares on the Athens Exchange:
· ASTRA INVESTMENT CO regarding the company’s share capital increase by a public offering and the listing of its shares on the Main Market of the Athens Exchange.
In accordance with the approved prospectus:
· The company ASTRA INVESTMENT CO will distribute 1,000,000 new common bearer shares through IPO.
On its session on October 31, 2002 the Board of Directors of the Athens Exchange approved:
· The listing of annual bonds of ETBA S.A., issue of July, August and September 2002.
The Board of Directors of the Athens Exchange, in the frame of its decision ‘Actions and recommendations regarding the smooth operation of the market’ on its session on 10.10.2002, decided to recommend to the Capital Market Commission the amendment of the decision number 2/126/17.05.2001 regarding the ‘short selling of shares on the Athens Exchange’, so that the investor that has sold a share by short selling, he will be under the obligation to cover the shares he has borrowed on the first acquisition of the specific share.
