The Athens Exchange announces that it is going to participate in IR awards of the ATHEX Listed companies, supporting this way a widely acknowledged, for the most developed markets, and new for the Hellenic market institution, at a special event which will take place in March 2003 at the ATHEX trading floor.
The institution of the IR Awards is conducted by Capital Link in association with the international House 'Institutional Investor', member of Euromoney Institutional Investor that is known internationally through its analyst rankings in Europe and USA, as well as with FTSE Organization, which forms Indices in an international level and co-operating with the Athens Exchange also forms FTSE/ASE-20, FTSE/ASE Midcap 40 and FTSE/ASE Small Cap 80 Index. At the same time, PriceWaterHouseCoopers conducts the process and the results for the assessment and the awards.
The assessment is realized through opinion polls of the entities of the market, stock market analysts, institutional investors, the financial press as well as the investment public. The process will start promptly and will be concluded within March 2003, when the results will be released.
