| Athens Exchange | | Technical solutions regarding the trilateral collaboration of the stock exchanges of Athens – Istanbul – Tel Aviv | | November 19, 2002 In the frame of the establishment of technological infrastructure regarding the realization of cross trading between the members of the Athens Exchange, Istanbul Stock Exchange and Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, the Athens Exchange, in collaboration with the Athens Exchange Members Association, arranged a meeting on Monday, November 18, 2002.
At the meeting the members had the opportunity to be notified, initially, and then to evaluate, following new contacts and discussions, the proposals and alternative solutions, regarding the electronic link with the members of the Stock Exchanges of Istanbul and Tel Aviv.
The alternative solutions were put forward by the companies that are data vendors and specialize, directly or indirectly, in collaboration with other companies, to the development of capital market support systems and which are as follows in the order of their presentation: INTARGET, GL/Money line, REUTERS, FOREKS, BLOOMBERG, PROFILE S.A., FORTH net, Premium.
The operation of the electronic link is expected to benefit the agencies and companies that activate in the stock market and for this reason, the meeting (18.11.2002) was attended by representatives of most members of the Athens Exchange, both at business and technical level.
