On its session on February 13, 2003, the Board of Directors of the Athens Exchange decided the amendment and replacement of the Regulation no 19/1999 regarding the ‘Obligations of listed companies in the cases of mergers – acquisitions – change of activity – spin off of sector’.
The Board of Directors of the Athens Exchange also decided that the company MEAGA HOLDINGS S.A. should proceed to the issuance of an information note so as to notify the investing public regarding the merger by acquisition of the company MEGA STORES S.A.
On its session on February 13, 2003, the Board of Directors of the Athens Exchange approved:
· The listing of 3,225,000 common bearer shares of he company OPTIMA INVESTMENTS S.A. on the Parallel Market of the Athens Exchange
· The listing of 10,621,250 new common registered shares that resulted from the share capital increase of the company ASPIS BANK S.A. through a rights issue.
· The listing of 1,200 new common registered shares of the company SILVER AND BARYTE ORES MINING CO that resulted from a company’s share capital increase due to the exercise of a stock option plan by the members of the company’s Board of Directors, some of the company’s top executives, as will as executives of associated companies.
· The listing of 213,780 new common registered shares of the company M. J. MAILLIS S.A. that resulted from a company’s share capital increase due to the exercise of a stock option plan by employees of the company
· The listing of 7,500,000 new common registered shares of the company TECHNICAL OLYMPIC S.A. that resulted from a company’s share capital increase due to the exercise of a stock option plan
· The listing of 36,600,000 new bonus common registered shares of the company J & P – AVAX S.A.
· The listing of 148,250 new common registered shares of the company CH. BENRUBI S.A. that resulted from a company’s share capital increase due to the exercise of a stock option plan
· The listing of 10,621,250 new common registered shares that resulted from the share capital increase of the company ASPIS BANK S.A. through a rights issue
The Board of Directors of the Athens Exchange was notified for:
· The change of the name of the company INFO – QUEST COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL COMPANY OF COMPUTERS, COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS AND PERIPHERALS S.A. to INFO – QUEST COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL COMPANY OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS PRODUCTS AND SERVICES S.A. and trade name INFO – QUEST S.A.
On its session on February 13, 2003, the Board of Directors of the Athens Exchange also approved:
· The brokerage companies MERIT SECURITIES S.A. and EUROXX SECURITIES S.A. as Market Makers on the Main and Parallel Market of the Athens Exchange.
